Sadolin Woodfiller - 250ml

Ideal for small repairs and minor defects, Sadolin Woodfiller has excellent adhesion and offers flawless results. This premium quality filler can be used on both softwoods and hardwoods and can be overcoated with most types of interior and exterior timber coating systems.

Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates which may affect adhesion.

• Remove any woodstain or varnish from the area to be filled.
• Remove any loose or decaying wood, after cutting back, treat the area to be repaired with a wood preserver.
• When filling large areas consideration should be given to splicing in new timber sections.

Always choose a colour of filler that is similar to the colour of the substrate (i.e. either that of the timber or of the stained timber that is to be filled). Always carry out a test application, especially when accurate colour matching is important.

• Apply with a plastic spatular, filling knife or similar implement.
• Leave the filler slightly proud to allow for sanding.
• Apply the filler carefully to ensure all air is displaced and good contact is made between the filler and the timber.
• Filler can be sanded after 30 minutes, carefully sand the filler flush to the timber surface using a medium-grade abrasive paper.
• If the timber that is filled is much darker than the filler, or if the surrounding timber has been stained, apply a little stain to the filled surface using an artist’s brush, to bring it to a similar colour before coating the whole surface.
• More permeable timbers will absorb stain to a greater extent than the filler and 2 or 3 applications of stain to the filled area may be needed to achieve the desired result.

Q. What size holes can Sadolin Woodfiller fill?

A. Ideal for small repairs and minor defects, as it can fill holes up to 5mm in one application. For deeper holes fill in layers allowing it to fully dry in between layers.

Q. Does this wood filler come in more colours?

A. This product only comes in four colours to help get the closest match to the wood when filling. This is available in Light Oak, Mahogany, Teak and White. Please note the colours shown are for illustrative purposes as variations between products and swatches may not match exactly with the end result.

  If placed on a working day before 3pm, the AM Delivery will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday AM (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day for delivery on the following AM. All orders have a charge of £12.99 for AM delivery.

• Late Cut-Off: Get an extra hour to place your order for Next Working Day delivery.
  Orders placed on a working day before 4pm will be dispatched on the same day for Next Working Day delivery. 
  Orders placed before 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. All orders have a charge of £5.99 for Late Cut-Off delivery.

• Saturday Delivery: Get your order on Saturday
  Option available on Fridays. Orders placed on Friday before 3pm will be delivered on Saturday. All orders have a charge of £9.95 for Saturday delivery.

We do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Republic of Ireland

Returns

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Unfortunately in the event you do not like the colour we are unable to accept the product back if they it has been opened.

If you find a fault with your product, we can offer a full refund or exchange within 30 days. We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
