1. Pre-treat the surface with Repair Care Dry Fix Uni for optimal adhesion.
2. Apply the compound within the specified temperature range (10–35ºC) for best results.
3. Allow at least 4 hours for the compound to cure before sanding and painting.

Q: What is the difference between DRY FLEX® 4 and DRY FLEX® 4 2-IN-1?

Ans: The main difference lies in the format and application method—not the formulation. Both products offer the same performance, but they are packaged differently:

DRY FLEX® 4

• Supplied as two separate components: Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener)
• You need to manually measure and mix the correct ratio before application
• Suitable for professionals who prefer more control over the mixing process or are doing larger repairs

DRY FLEX® 4 2-IN-1

• Supplied in a convenient dual-cartridge system that automatically dispenses both components in the correct ratio
• Used with a compatible 2-in-1 dispensing gun
• Offers a cleaner, faster, and more controlled application with less waste
• Ideal for maintenance teams and site work where time efficiency is key

Both versions offer a ready to sand in approximately 4 hours at 20°C. They're ideal for medium-sized timber repairs and suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Q: Can timber repairs with Dri Flex be done in winter?

Ans: Absolutely — but temperature matters. As long as the temperatures stay above 0°C, you can carry out repairs using DRY FLEX® 1, 4, BIO FLEX™ COOL, or ALLROUND. For DRY FLEX® 16, we recommend working in conditions above 10°C for best results

In colder weather, just make sure the repair surface is dry and free from condensation before starting — this ensures proper adhesion and long-lasting repairs.

Q: Why is the epoxy cracking after my repair with Dry Flex?

Ans: Cracking in the epoxy can happen for a few key reasons. To help identify the cause, consider the following:

• Was the epoxy mixed thoroughly and at the correct ratio? Incomplete or incorrect mixing can lead to weak spots.
• Is the repair at least 5 mm thick throughout, especially at the edges? Thin areas are more prone to cracking.
• Was the product left to cure naturally, without external heat sources? Uneven or accelerated curing can compromise the structure.
• Was the repair applied without trapping air? Air bubbles can weaken the integrity of the bond.

Returns

We offer a 14 day money back guarantee for all goods shipped correctly that are not required. If the item is not required, please send the item back for a full refund in its original condition, unused with its original packaging. Please note return for unwanted item is at your own expense.

All tinted paint purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unsure about your selection, please refer to the product listing or contact us for guidance before ordering. Once mixed, tinted paints cannot be returned or refunded, regardless of delivery delays or changes in circumstances.

While we aim to meet delivery timelines, we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other external factors.

We recommend ordering samples or colour charts before purchasing. While we strive to represent colours accurately, screen settings and surface types can affect appearance. Opened tins cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with colour.

Incorrect Item

Faulty Items

Faulty items can be refunded or exchanged within 30 days. All returns are tested, and if no fault is found, no refund will be issued you'll have the option to have the item returned. For faults discovered after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer for further support.
