Ideal for the treatment and protection of exterior new or bare timber prior to the application of an exterior woodstain or paint. The easily absorbed formulation provides protection against wood-rotting fungi and wood-destroying insects.

The surface to be treated must be suitably prepared, clean sound and dry, and free from any contaminates that may affect the absorption of the preservative treatment.
- All previous coatings should be completely removed.
- Grey timber must be mechanically sanded back to a bare clean surface.
- Remove resinous deposits with a scrapper, any remaining resinous residues should be removed using clean, lint-free cloths, dampened with methylated spirits.
It is recommended to perform a test patch on a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, or when temperatures are below 10°C.
- Apply by brush only.
- Supplied ready to use, do not thin.
- Apply 2 liberal coats, until saturation is reached and the wood will no longer absorb any more preservative treatment.
- Pay special attention to end grains and joints.
- Allow 24 hours between applications.
- For full weather protection apply a suitable paint, stain, or varnish once the final coat is dry. Allow 24 hours for solvent-based topcoats and 72 hours for water-based.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.

A. No this is formulated for new bare timber. You would need to remove and sand previously coated wood.

We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
