Fiddes Nitro Stain is an oil-based wood dye formulated for use on interior wooden floors. Ideal for use as a wood stain prior to the application of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil. Nitro Stain is available in a range of natural wood colours from light oak to ebony.

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, and debris
- Sand the wooden substrate in stages, working with a medium sandpaper (120 grit), through to a medium / fine grade (180 –220 grit). Always sand in the direction of the grain pattern where possible, ensuring the removal of any blemishes and glue residue prior to the application of Fiddes Wood Dye.
Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be stained to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Colours may vary depending on the surface to be painted.
- Apply with a clean, lint free cloth or sponge.
- Apply in the direction of the wood grain.
- Remove any excess product with a clean, absorbent cloth.
- To obtain a uniform colour, always wipe evenly, blending the stain over the whole surface area by exerting a degree of pressure when applying by hand.
- Leave to dry for 4-6 hours.
- Additional coats will deepen the existing colour, do not sand between coats.

Q. Is Fiddes Nitro Floor Stain a finished product?
A. No, you will require to use the Fiddes Hard Wax Oil over the top of the stain. This is a stain only and will not offer. any protection to your flooring.

A. This would be up to your desire, any additional costs will deepen the existing colour.

We test every product that is returned to us, sadly if a product is found to have no fault we cannot refund this and the you will be given the option to have this returned to you.
