Liberon Spirit Sanding Sealer quickly prepares the surface of bare or stripped wood and MDF used for interior furniture and decorative items prior to wax finishing. It will seal the surface so less wax is needed and special lubricants will ease sanding. Ideal for unstained floors, doors, furniture, turned woodwork and cabinets prior to applying either an oil-based or a water-based clear wax finish.

Preparation

Ensure the area to be treated is clean dry and free from dust.

• If you would like to colour the wood apply Liberon Palette Wood Dye before the sealer

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with your results.

• Shake well before use

• Apply using a brush

• Brush on a thin coat of sealer

• Allow to dry for at least 30 minutes

• Sand thoroughly with 240 or 320 grit paper

• Apply a second coat if required

• Allow to dry for 1 hour and sand

Tip: To Finish apply Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Paste using Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) to finish.

Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
