Overview

Osmo Concrete Oil is a clear, satin impregnation oil ideal for use on nearly all types of concrete. The use of natural oils and waxes allows the product to penetrate the surface rather than creating a film. This allows the concrete to be water and dirt repellent as well as stain-resistant and reducing the dust from screed and concrete surfaces. The microporous finish protects without cracking, peeling, or flaking.

  • Does not crack, peel, flake, or blister
  • Highly water repellent
  • Protects against dirt or wear
  • Seals porous tile material ready for grouting

  • Rinse the surface well after stripping and allow to dry for a minimum of 7 days.

New surfaces

  • Please allow these to completely dry before application for concrete and screed this may take several weeks depending on thickness.
Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be treated before application to ensure you are happy with the finished look. We strongly recommend testing or consulting the manufacturer if using to seal porous tiles.

  • Stir well before application.
  • Do not thin Osmo Concrete Oil is ready to use.
  • Apply using Osmo Soft Tip Flat Brush or a microfibre roller.
  • Apply thinly and spread well.
  • Remove any excess wet product with a lint-free cloth.
  • For larger areas, the excess product can be removed with a rubber scraper and polished with a buffing machine (white pad).
  • Ventilate well and allow to dry for 8-10 hours.
  • Apply a second coat as above when renovating already oiled surfaces, normally one coat on a cleaned surface is sufficient.

Note: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
